Kia ora, I am Violet and here is my reflection of the Wellington food!
When we went to wellington we had to bring some afternoon tea and some extra snack and of course you had breakfast at home. For lunch we got to go the beehive and got pizza, juice and chocolate for after. Then we walked over the Mcdonalds and got some ice cream. After a long walk around wellington and back to the airport we got subway for dinner. It was really good!
This week we have been focusing on different cultures and I choose Irish Culture because my family comes from some Ireland. We had to make a slide about it and here is mine! Where are you based from?

This week for writing we had to add speech bubbles on some animals and I did mine about brain rot. I was really excited to see my friends ideas and other people creativity. If you made one what would you do it about? Here is my one!
Yesterday we had a Duffy Assembly With Johnnie Timu. If you don know him look him up and find his website. We are so thankful for all of these books and I really enjoy reading these books. I got two books called Like A Girl and a book from Tom Gates. Johnnie Timu came down from Auckland to come and speak to us about his Business, It was very successful! Here is a photo of my book.
This week and last week our class has all been making an advertisement video. I was in a group with some of my friends and we made a video about The Pink Princess Perfume! It is about stinky boys who get bullied and then the models spray perfume on them, and they transform into not stinky cute boys. Have you ever made a movie with your friends? Here is the Video
This week for Ready my group had to Compare and Evaluate Between 1918 Flu and Covid 19. Here is My Report!
In the 1918 pandemic the kids had to help out with the sick. Like helping in the soup kitchen, working and just doing things normally doctors or adults were doing.
In covid children were definitely not working. They were still doing school but they had to do it on a computer. Most students liked doing this because they did not have to wake and get dressed. Lots of the students just stayed in bed.
In the pandemic lots of stuff that the children were doing was a bit dangerous for children and just dangerous in general. But in covid everyone was in lock down and you had to wear a mask everywhere. Even outside!
It was dangerous for children because lots of people were getting sick and some even dying. Also it was not dangerous for children because they were not working/slaving. Even when the children were sick they were still helping.
This week and last week my reading group has been working on a World Pollution Slideshow . I really liked doing this because I show me what was really happened and how much waste we produce.
This week we had to make a template about different religions I chose Hindi. That is an Indian culture. Here is my template.
Something I loved about doing this task is seeing all of the photos full of happy people and a bunch of colours.
Today we got our Duffy books and I got Find Your Porpoise and Wings Of Fire no.6. I did not order my book because I wasn’t here but I think I would have choose something different.
